Skilled problem solvers (thinking creatively ‐ thinking outside of the box)
○ These abilities shine through when we, as a dyslexic, devise innovative strategies to navigate our learning challenges. For instance, seeking assistance from a friend or utilizing technology like "Ok Google" for spelling assistance.
○ We possess a knack for identifying alternative approaches to tasks and uncovering connections that may elude others.
○ Our expertise lies in synthesizing information and resources from various sources to unveil these novel connections.
○ We often employ an instinctive problem-solving method that may appear as daydreaming. For a dyslexic, gazing out the window is a way of working, allowing our minds to wander and effortlessly piece together solutions.
○ By employing critical thinking skills to analyze information, we can effectively tackle problems.
Notable examples of individuals with dyslexia harnessing this strength include Albert Einstein and Leonardo Da Vinci.
